The purpose of the Rancho Track 5K is to raise money for the Rancho Alamitos H.S. track & field team. All proceeds will go to purchasing/maintaining athletic equipment for the team, help pay for Invitational races, and to help cover year-end banquet costs.
The Rancho Track Virtual 5K will be held from March 25th - April 1st. Registration is currently open. Registration will remain open until the end of the day on April 1st. You will then have until the end of the day on April 2nd to send us your results (using this form) so we can update the results page.

The Rancho Track 5K registration will be $30 ($20 for students/faculty in high school or below).
Finishers will receive a custom Rancho 5K Run race shirt, an awesome Rancho 5K Run medal, and the satisfaction of knowing that you helped out our team. If you choose to have your items shipped to you, we will send those out ASAP after the event is over. If you live locally, we will have a pick-up day once the shirts and medals are finished. If you are not able to make the pick-up day, we will make other arrangements.
A virtual race can be ran (or walked!) anytime and anywhere (within the events specified timeframe), even indoors on a treadmill.
After you have completed your 5k, simply fill out this form to upload your results to us so we can update the results page. Participants in the Rancho 5k (El Vaquero Race) can earn a great medal and shirt for themselves while raising money to help support our great track program.

Yes! Young or old, fast or slow – we encourage participants of all ages and ability levels.
We call our events “runs,” but walkers are certainly welcome!
If you can't walk, feel free to rollerskate, ride your bike, or even crawl if you must.
Just getterdone!
We accept results on the honor system, so you can track your distance and time however you like. The most accurate way to do this is by using a Running GPS watch, but there are also several free smartphone apps available for iPhones and Android devices that you may be interested in. Please see this Best Free Run-Tracking Apps page for some suggestions.
You can also use a regular watch to track your time. Or even an hour glass or sun dial, if you have one 🙂
- After the event has started, simply go HERE, and fill out the form.
Yes. We want to make sure that the finisher medals and finisher shirts go to finishers of our 5k. All shirt and medal orders will go off of the results page.
